The Garden

Have you been to "The Garden"? Have you experienced "The Good Earth Band"? I've been to church before, but this is different. Every Sunday morning at 8:15 9:15 and 10:15 you can go to "The Garden" located at "Beef & Boards", grab a cup of coffee and donut and sit back and absorb the message.

"The Garden" is a "blossom of St. Lukes United Methodist Church", and I find the messages very refreshing and upbeat, and enjoy the well constructed presentation that usually encorporates a slide show, popular type music from the band, clips from movies and shows, prayer, and a message from Dr. Linda McCoy or another pastor.

I know some out there may enjoy the traditional service, but for me I love to experience the beauty of "The Garden"! Currently there are 2 blossoms:

The Garden at Beef & Boards, 9301 North Michigan Road, Indianapolis, IN 46268
and
The Garden at Oak Hill, 5801 East 116th Street, Carmel, IN 46033

"The Garden" recently celebrated it's 10th birthday. I only found the garden last year. My wife and I decided we needed to join a church, but we needed to find one we thought was right for us first. We happened to be around 116th Street actually looking for a church, and saw this gentleman standing outside "The Mansion" waving and greeting people. We decided to see if this was a "church" and it was... We have since joined St. Lukes United Methodist Church and frequent the services at The Garden at Beef & Boards!

Have you been to "The Garden"? What are your thoughts?
